Stewards of a Promise

Music Heals Minds was founded by Hannah Laham, a Nashville singer-songwriter, and Mary Belle Jones, the mother of her close friend Julius Cole. Together they brought his songs and his story into an organization that places music in the hands of people living with mental illness. Hannah's mother Kelly Laham serves as Executive Director, with Anka Roberto and Kathie Hogg on the board.

Bio pending Hannah's own statement. Hannah is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter and the founder of Music Heals Minds. She is Julius Cole's close friend, and her 2018 recording of Sunny Day brought six of his unfinished songs to a wider audience. The album's October release party became the moment Music Heals Minds was introduced to the community.
